The colorful day
The day of colors it was,
Everything was colorful,
Everyone was colorful,
Red, green, blue, yellow even black,
The colors were flying up in the air searching for the right body, right face to fall on,
The balloons filled with water crashing on people’s back and splash!!!
That was an immense crowd,
I was there in between,
Trying to get involved with others,
But, a bit lost,
A bit bypassed and
My heart asleep
The colors weren’t able to find my face,
The balloons weren’t able to penetrate my body,
spill the water over my heart and wake me up,
My inner soul just couldn’t synchronize with the world outside,
Neither did I understand nor did I bother myself to drill down the issue,
I was just letting it go as it was happening,
Just acted like an externally controlled body doing what it was ordered to do.
A bulky crowd,
I turned my head towards right,
And there she was, a girl,
Not much colored,
Not much involved in the crowd,
Ashamed or hesitated?
Who knows?
Her right cheek hidden under blue cover,
While the left cheek was able to retain its identity, which could show how fair her skin was,
And her red bloody lips,
Quite scared of losing its beauty in that colored dusty environment.
That was a beautiful site,
My eyes were smiling,
While my lips,
Still stitched.
I wanted to know what was going on with her,
Was she in the same condition as mine?
Was she missing something? Or someone?
A corner of my heart started knocking my foots to move towards her,
To go there and say something,
Ask something,
Make her feel better,
Make myself feel better,
But, that shitty crowd,
Wouldn’t let me,
I just rooted myself there.
As my heart was glued to her side,
And eyes staring her,
Someone came by,
And covered all her face with different colors,
Now she was hidden completely,
Earlier, the crowd wasn’t enough to hide her from my sight
but now, just a handful of colors and she was lost,
Like the bright and shiny moon covered by the blanket of clouds,
She lost her identity, her beauty
I couldn’t do anything besides cursing that guy,
Then, she started walking away,
Away from the crowd,
I couldn’t stand it,
Like the sunflower admires the sun and follows,
My foot started following her path,
There she was at a side,
With a mineral water bottle in her hand,
She opened the lid and spilled the water,
The water droplets were oozing out like they were waiting for this particular moment,
She splashed them onto her face,
Those drops of water, I swear they were smiling for having such sublime privilege to feel her pulpy cheeks and kiss her lips
I envied them indeed.
Once again,
It was like the same moon found its way to get itself out of the clouds,
Her beauty was revealed,
Now, not only my eyes but also my lips started to stretch,
To smile,
But then,
A guy approached towards her,
Put his hands around her waist,
Took a selfie with her,
Oh! Lord,
Her duck face poked me hard,
Just a moment of brightness in my shadowed heart,
And disappeared within a blink,
I turned around,
Walked towards the same boring crowd again,
Being ready to be lost and bypassed again.
